Bad Hand Dan

On Saturday I attended the Fourth of July Match of the original CAS club, The Cowboys.

What a treat! I had seen them on the History Channel a couple of times, so I was a fan already. Fortunately, I live in Southern California, so I could drive to the range.

President Capt Jake Cutter is just a gem of a person, as are all the Cowboys I met. They are VERY focused on adding new shooters, as is my company, for the future of our great sport.

Feel free to sing the praises of your gang! I'm sure we would all enjoy reading it.

God bless and shoot straight!

Well Dan I have never heard a ill word spoken about that bunch your talking about, but you did title your post the "Best CAS club", so while they might be the best in them parts, the best around this neck of the woods is.

The Sun River Rangers Shooting Society, just West of Simms, Montana
and can be seen at,

I gotta agree that The Cowboys is fantastic, in the people, the smooth operation, the innovative stuff they come up with and did I mention the people? Capt Jake, Ivory Jack and the many others that do all they can to give you the best match they can.
That is why I am a member of The Cowboys, even though the club is 150 miles from me.
I haven't been everywhere, even though I would like to travel around when I retire, so please call out the clubs you others like and maybe even why.  :)
