I finally loaded the bullets with 1.3 dipper full of goex 3f powder in my 45 cowboy special shells.
I shot these new bullets in my ruger old army for the complete match last saturday.
Not one hiccup or dragging of the cylinder through the match. I did have to clean my ruger vaquero cylinder face halfway through the match due to dragging on a stage. In the ruger vaquero i was using standard 158 grain bullets with 15 grains volumn of 3f goex powder. I put a prelubed wonder wad between the bullet and powder because i don't have any biglube pills for this caliber yet.

the epp-ug bullets worked very well. the other shooters were surprised about all that smoke comming from such a small shell.
its a good thing that i loaded up extra shells. I gave out a few rounds so other bp shooters could try them out.
I think a few of em will buy this sweet shell and sweet bullets.

I figured out that once you try big lube bullets there will be no going back.

Now i know that i have been converted to the big lube bullet for me ruger old armies.
I will be feeding my ruger old armies a steady diet of big lube bullets from this day forth.

Thanks for desiging a great product for us black powder shooters.

Thanks for the report knucklehead.

Big Lube™ bullets are making big news.  They are also bringing a LOT of great trouble free shooting fun to black powder lovers.  Here's a report from Bad Gene Pool.

"Note from Bad Gene Poole:
Just finshed shooting the Siege at San Juan where I won first place in Frontiersman and first place in the Plainsman event.  We will be here until Wednesday when we will head north to Jerome, Idaho for a shoot there this weekend."

For those shooters that simply want to enjoy black powder shooting without the pain that's always been associated with it, these little bullets are the answer.  When you team them up with Adirondack Jack's Cowboy 45 Special brass you will find that the joy of black powder shooting comes with less recoil.  Now we can shoot dirty, shoot accurate, clean up easy and finish the day without aching wrists.

Yes PUK, there can be a 36 Caliber EPP-UG design soon.  There is a BIG story brewing at Big Lube™.  I've left some of the feline out of the burlap already, but there are some very exciting things coming.

Yeppee, the C45S and the EPP-UG are a match made in heaven.

On the last stage we shot on Sunday, we had a pair of rifle targets to doubletap, then a five plate mechanical rack to clear.  The EPPs on top of 777FFG in the C45S cases ran through the Spur Special marlin as fast as I could crank it.  Them plates fell as fast as the "gamiest" .38 smokeless shooter took em down.  I was grinnin through the rest of the stage :)

Ho AJ,

How'd ya like to sell me one of 'em quick Marlins?  My Brownings never were chambered in that size.  Besides steel, I'm thinkn' it would make a great rabbit killer. . . ;D

DD ole pard, yer about the fifth person tried to buy one of em and the answer is always the same .  Git ya a nice used one (I prefer the 24 incher with the checkered wood) and send it right off to Spur (  spur45@macomb.com  ) and he'll fix ya right up.  C45S  Spur special #1 and #2 are stayin' with me :)

Yer a hard man AJ.  But the original Mav Dutchman Big Lube™ mold won't leave my bench either.  Some things are just plain personal.  I'm goin' to start diggin' around for that fine Marlin rifle.

Gun E Bear

And #4 is staying with Gun E Bear in Vermont, I just sent a email to spurs, to see if he could work the same magic to feed a 45 Schofield. Stroke wont be as short, but still a lot better than a stock Marlin. My Marlin Cowboy will feed the Schofields fine, just look'n for the extra edge.

AJ, try taking a 45 Schofield and seeting one of the 185 SWC I sent you backwards so just the bevel is outside the case. I think you will find that #1 and 2 will still feed them OK. Looks like your shooting a 45 wadcutter.
