John Taffin, in the current issue of Guns magazine, tests the Cimarron Richards Type II and the Remmy factory conversion. Hmmmmmm...think I'll call Cimarron & tell 'em I'm a gun writer and need a Type II Richards for "testing".  ;D ;)

Dusty Morningwood

Better still.  Tell them that the members of STORM need one to pass around for testing.  That puts me number 2 in line after you. ;D (Can't do it by date joined.  I'd never see the thing.)

The shipment that is just leaving Uberti for Cimarron has 9 Type II Richards.  They are all .44 Colt and 5 1/2" barrel.  Should arrive in Fredericksburg in 3 or 4 weeks.  So they are starting to trickle in!

Fox Creek Kid

5 1/2" barrel??? Ya gotta be kiddin' me!!????  ::)  Great. Just great.  :'( :'(

Deadeye Don

Makes perfect sense to me producing the least favorite barrel length for a conversion first.  >:( ???

Yes, I wonder when they'll have some in .44 Colt with the longer barrrels?  I'd certainly like one also...
