How About a Spencer Mentoring Program?

Two Flints

Hello SSS,

Back when I was teaching, we had a Teacher Mentoring Program, in which some of the older, more experienced teachers would volunteer to help, support, and counsel the  new teachers as they began their teaching careers.

I was wondering if some of our more established SSS shooters would be willing to volunteer their time and knowledge of Spencers to specific new members of SSS.  It would be a one-on-one arrangement with the more experienced SSS member in direct Email contact with one new member of SSS.  I know it can be rather confusing  ::) reading all of the loading information that we now have available on SSS. It might be helpful if one SSS member's Spencer success could be exchanged with (just) one new member of SSS.

I would create a list of Spencer Mentors ;D and a list of Spencer Mentees ;D, who wanted the more personal and direct help.  I could then match one Spencer Mentor with a Spencer Mentee.  Or the matching could be done by the Spencer Mentors, who could select from the list.

Let me know what you think about this Spencer Mentoring Program.

Thanks for reading this thread.

Hi Will and Deadeye,

I was ALSO hoping to take advantage of the mentoring program;D ;D.  There are members of SSS who have quite a bit of expertise on loading for the Spencer that I would like to learn, and in this regard I would have to classify myself as a Spencer Mentee.

But, I do appreciate your vote of confidence in me.

 :P for what I'm worth:
I'm still a Spencer cherry, but I've done a little reloading, so if the blind don't mind being mentored by the blind, I'll help out  ;)
