I am looking for a used 410 shotgun reloader or a 410 case conditioner.  All I need to do is deprime and prime 410 shells.  This ties into this board because I am making blanks for my Spencer Carbine.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a handsome, and well preserved body; but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...."WOW!... What a ride!"

Yep, that's it but the price is almost up to what a new one would cost.  So I guess I will keep looking.

Hi Terry,

Can you reveal what you got and how you plan to use it?  I'm always curious and wanting to learn from those in the know!

I am trying to get a Spencer in 44-40 to fire blanks that are not too expensive.  The 5 in 1 work but they are 30 cents each just for the brass, plus primer and powder.  That can get expensive when you are firing 100 to 150 per battle.
I have succeeded in modifying 410 shotgun shells to cycle and chamber in my Spencer.  They are a lot of work to make but the finished product only cost between 15 to 20 cents each to produce.  I have made about 50 so far but I am trying to assemble the proper tools to make a serious dent in production time.  I hope to have everything figured out by the middle of next month.
When I am satisfied with everything I will probably write a paper on it and post the link here.
