The GAF Medal is now officiallly copyrighted so we can make up some new ones without any legal difficulties.

For some reason effective date of registration was March 20th - but it took two months for the government to send me the notification, which I received yesterday.

Yes, now we can have the medal produced without worrying about whether we have the legal right to do so.

The medal design is now the intellectual property of the GAF (well, in my name anyways!).

Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

What are the chances the medals would be available at (or before) Muster?

Pretty good if I can find someone to loan me theirs so that we can make a copy. At this point the supplier said that he can have them ready for the muster and I am planning on attending so that I can deliver them. The hat wreaths only took a few weeks to have the first batch ready to go after I got the GAR wreath that we copied.
