Early Remington numbers

I seem to be getting conflicting production numbers regarding the early model Remington revolvers. Could someone break down the numbers for me just up till 1863

From the Blue Book of Gun Values.
Old Model Army AKA Model 1861 Army S/N 1,900-12,000 Approx 10,000 produced.
New Model Army S/N 12,000-148,000 Approx 148,000 Produced.

(S/N 12,000-25,000 and more are the Transition models with the OMA bbl and Front sights,two line address, and no safety notches on the cylinder).

The Transition NMA I have is the latest one I have seen with the transition features,Just over that 25,000 mark.  I had thought it cut off at about 15,000, but evidently not.

Flayderman's give slightly different info.
