Adding a half cock hammer

How popular is it to add a half cock to a new model Ruger?
I know Wes does it and I know there are a few drop in kits for this, but I was wondering how popular it is and if it is worth the money?

I was gonna let the "more in the know" NMV Ruger Pards answer this.  But no one has said nothin' up to now....

MY OPINION ONLY HERE----I wouldn't care to have it done to mine.  But many Pards do.  Makes them NMV's feel more "Colt".  And I dunno the cost. 


You didn't mention where you are from.  If ya are from the AZ area---I would recommend Wes Flowers to be the one to do it fer ya.  He's tops with the Ruger six-shooters!!!!

I was hoping someone who had done it would give an opinion one way or the other, but since no one did, I guess maybe that means it is not as popular as I thought.  Probably will only do a regular action job.
