Well, I have one on order and I am already starting to wonder if my production of spencer molds will come to a screeching halt all of a sudden.

I will have to chuck it in the lathe when it arrives and see how it fairs. I have NOT had good success with these types of molds in the past when trying to get them to size down.

If it works, I will order more directly from Lee and see if they will give me a discount.

BTW: I will NOT be increasing the prices of my custom molds... Its only $5 difference and I figure I can eat it for now.

ALSO NOTE!!! I will NOT be ordering custom bullet sizing dies from Lee again. Its too much hassle and I have found that with soft alloys, it makes no sense at all to be sizing the bullets down for BP shooting. I have talked with 5 other spencer shooters of 56-50 and we all agree... The Lee molds drop an unsized bullet from graphite sprayed molds at EXACTLY .513", which is not even enough to worry about.

So, if you REALLY feel you need a custom sizer, please contact Lee directly... Your on your own.

the 50cal mold is listed as part number 90266 (based on mold code #515-500-F)

Midway is now sold of these... for now.

It is a 500gr .515" dual cavity mold. (I just machine it down to 350gr)
