Is there any thought to having some USFA apparel available for us USFA nuts that definitely like to promote USFA.  USFA discussions at the gun store make for great conversations, especially in the vicinity of Ruger owners.  A simple shirt would do!

Banjoman

We had some T shirts done.  USFA logo on the front with the website on the back.  Some had USFA Slam Fire Lightning on the back.  We haven't done any in a long time.  Was wearing my T shirt a few months ago and was in a grocery store and a women comes up and comments on the guns.

We also made up some padded revolver and rifle cases.  We'll probably do some more in the fall.  The main focus at USFA right now is getting the backorder down.  Unless Murphy shows up again, by mid September, a Rodeo/Cowboy/Gunslinger should only be about 4 weelks away.  In fact, by that time, we should be making stock guns.  Having said the above, I may regret it but that's the way it looks right now.

A fine gun is worth the wait! Order a rig from El Paso Saddlery. At least a 3 mounth wait. Your order status page needs some work though. My order still shows as being processed & I have had the gun for two weeks.

Rusty,
If you're refferring to an internet order, you're correct.  The whole process needs some changes as well as how we track an internet order verses a dealer's order.  I would remind everyone that orders (regardless of the source), are tracked by the receiving dealer.  Presently, when checking on an order, it's much easier to find it by the receiving dealer than by the customer.

Hopefully somewhere in the future some accessories will become available so some very loyal USFA fans can boast their pride in owning USFA firearms.  Until then, please continue what USFA is extremely good at, making great American firerams using great American craftsmanship that speaks of great American Tradition & Quality.  Keep doing what you do best!

I would go for 2 or 3 tshirts and maybe a hat pin.

Coffee mugs would be great too.  You all just have some made up, double the price of production and we fanatics will be happy to buy them.  Man, a USFA mug to take to work to piss the liberal gun grabbers there...hmmmmm..NICE!

How about a USFA credit card?  (Maybe an American Express?  But a Visa/Mastercharge ;) would work too.)  Could be one of those set up to give you points for purchases, and with so many points you could trade them in on goods/services at USFA (such as engraving! ;D ).

I'd trade my Harley-Davidson card for one in a New York minute!

I'll second that!

Maybe Banjoman can update us on the apparel status, I too would love some quality USFA swag.

Banjoman,

I appreciate the issue with the woman and the picture of guns.  A nice ball cap with the very fancy USFA logo would be very nice without setting any non-gunners off.

However, Firearms companies need to be in the marketing business of properly sending the word out that firearms are tools and works of art, which can be used or misused.  Society needs a good dose of taking responsibility for its actions and suffering the consequences.  Most firearms owners take gun ownership with great responsibility, the owner is where firearms use or misuse begins, not at the manufacturer.  We must challenge ourselves to opening dialogue with non-gunners to get the truth out.  Many people are killed each year in vehicles, but auto makers still advertise!

I know I am preaching to the choir, but this topic gets my blood boiling.  If anyone looks at American History, firearms have been at the conerstone of every major event and helped shape the scope of our future at every turn.  Firearms helped to industrialize this nation ahead of other nations.  America should be proud of its firearms manufacturers and its gun owners.

Well, I found the next best thing.

An NRA credit card.

And the best part is, you can put whatever picture you want on the front.

Just click on "Apply Now" and then down at the bottom is a link that says "demo".  You can upload a picture of your own USFA guns (or your dog, wife, whatever...) and have that as the picture on your Visa card.

(Oh, and when you use it, it helps support the NRA.)
