I just formed this holster this morning.
It's in the drying stage. I have still have to add the skirt to holster staps and put the sealer coat on the holster.

the holster is for my ruger old army with the conversion cylinder.

this is the first time i have added the chrome spots to anything. there are a few errors on this holster.
but overall i am happy with how it turned out.

Looks good. I like the oak leaves. Nice look. Keep 'em coming.  ;)

Thanks Slim and Marshal.

one of the problems is i got the diamond spots too close in some areas. i also forgot to account for the curve at the trigger area and got those 2 spots too close.

I also wish the holster was about 1" longer. to me the exposed tip of the barrel is not right.

but i am learning as i go. sometimes it frustraiting learning on my own.

The barrel sticking out never bothered Clint in his movies.

You should be very happy with this Holster. Its a beautiful job!

I'm also learning as I go and it can get frustrating at times. One of my biggest problems is trying to rush the job. I need to learn how to slow down.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Knucklehead, Pard as if the basketstamping on the last one wasn't enough now you are carving them.  Good work, however now I feel inadaquate.
