ASM .44 Navy value?

  Good Morning, I have two ASM 1851 Navies in .44 cal. Was wondering what they are worth approx. Shot around 40 to 50 rds out of each one, they are in excellent shape come with two River Junction Trade slim jims and both are in their original box and they have consecutive serial numbers. I bought them from EMF.
  Have been thinking about buying two R&D conversion cylinders for 1860 Uberti's since I heard they normally will fit in the .44 1851 ASM's. Thanks.

Steel Frame ...I assume

"normally" is the key word....  substitute with... " they may "....

while it is true R&D's will drop in to ASMs 1860 and the Frame of the ASM 1851 is dimensionally ... there is no guarantee ...

That said , it is worth the try, rebated cyl. aside.... It might work.... you might want to contact Andy Falk's at Fall Creek Suttlery.
Where R&D or Taylor's might respond they might not think outside the box... and state the simple answer... (nope)

Your ASM's would sell in the range of $150-$170 each....
