USFA shotguns?

I noticed on the USFA website that they are looking for individuals to work in the shotgun program.  Has anyone else heard they might be making a version of the colt shotguns?

I havent heard, but if they do, ill mortage the farm to get a super quality 1878 Colt double with 24" to 28" barrels. 26" would be the optiom length for me personally. Would be neat with interchangable chokes..although,,,even myself have 'issues in my mind' about them not being historic correct. But could double as a find bird and wraskly wrabbit gun,,,,(takes off 'Gus' hat and puts on Elmer Fudd cap!" )
Oh! BTW guys,,,got a "Pale Rider' hat comming from Longfellow. Lusted long enough,,,ordered it last week. And,,,,I have historic docum,,picture image and written date, to a 1858 man involved in a rescue party (thinks to Chuck Burrows for this) on that very style,,exact style even. If any ya shooters interested, email me and ill forward the docum to you gladly.
Keep us aprised if you find out more on this USFA/Colt shotgun issue sir. USFA seems to be the run-a-way quality leader out there now. Its great to know the 'quality and service if you paid for it' is still alive.

Perhaps Gary Granger would care to comment on the possibility of colt shotguns being made at USFA??  Gary...are ya out there?

Deadeye,,here it is hoss.
Its a heck of a hat site.
