We got us our first shoot of the year this very  Sunday morning!!!

The last time we got to shoot on our range wuz waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in October!!!

And I gotta tell ya....

All the itching n nervous twitching as all but stopped!

We got about 5 weeks yet.  We got 3 feet of new snow this week, and expect to be goin' below zero FARENHEIT tonite (we're not on that wacky French thermomenter here, Paladin UK   )

But I was happy to get back to the cabin tonight, after four days in a row snowblowing or pulling snow off of roofs.

The saga of Global Warming continues.  We have another day of blizzard conditions and I can't open my door cuz there's Four feet of snow that's gonna fall in.  Guess I'll have to go out the upstairs window and shovel the snow away from the door so the dawg kin go out and pee.

Ain't Al Gore's Global Warming a hoot?  We've got geese stuck in the snow.  Heck, they should have gone south with the others.  If I were a goose I'd never believe Al Gore. . . .

you better teach that darn dog to go out the window him-herself and go pee, then dig you a tunnel to the front door too so those stupid geese will fall into the hole along with Al Gore and you can cook all of um up for Supper! You could call your family to Supper and call the meal,
" Stupid is as stupid does Dinner food "...Sounds yummi....?

Cabin fever is something to do with sex here in Washington , not shooting ? I shoot from the back porch, so I really don't have that problem. The Range is a little cold, very wet, but if you don't shoot in the rain or snow here, you just don't shoot much. The last two rabbits I shot were from the back porch, me being inside, door open, sipping coffee, must be rough huh ? Unfortunately I had to put my boots on to go get them before my Beagle had lunch !!!

Winter sucks, but its pretty and the buds are in the trees here, should be a wonderful Spring .
I got tickets to Talledaga Raceway this year in April, so life couldn't be fricken grander !!!
I get to go fish with Pops this year in Dothan too and hope to get some sort of hunting, shooting in to.

Let me know how your Geese and Gore Supper went !!!! I am sure the Geese will cook up fine, but the Gore,well, I am sure you'll have to pulverize it with a hammer to get it to understand how to be something pallitable and something that anyone could stomach ? JMHO...

Gore tends to be wooden in life.  He'd be pure sawdust in the afterlife.  Them geese are a different matter.  Bear, my 135 pound black lab dawg, and I are goin' to trek out and get us some of that stuck game later on.  First, I've got to put another log on the fire.

I might be able to get the March shoot in as long as it stays above freezing. This bum peg don't handle the cold well. Talking heads are  saying low 40's-high 30's for next weekend. Of course, this Ohio, stick around 5 minutes and the weather will change........Buck
