1st shot though the Gemmerized Trapdoor Hawken Today

Well, I put the 1st round through my now finished Gemmer trapdoor Hawken today. 
BP 45/70  cartridge with 405 slug.   Saaaaaaaaaaaweeeeeeeet.  It's the first 45/70 I ever fired.  Kicks pretty good.  I will need one of my custom Triggersmith shoulder pads.  Balance is perfect and recoil is about like firing off both barrels of my TTN 12 guage.  Not too bad.  I LOVE IT.  I couldn't find any Buffs, but that old stump will never be the same.

And it's a great picture, but there's no smoke, nobody shooting it, no blurring from movement, no ACTION!

Sorry,  All the smoke obliterated the picture.  Man you should have seen it.  The recoil rocked me back, the smoke was seen for miles, the Fire Dept. called and asked me if I was burning tires.  People 50 miles away were calling and complaining about the noise. There were at least 200 spectators and I got a standing ovation.  BUT,  like I said "TOO MUCH BLACK POWDER SMOKE.  Ruined the picture.
