oal for reloading

For 45 caliber LC 250 gr lrnfp oregon trail bullet using starline brass what is the max oal  I can use. Right now I'm setting on 1.66 which matches the manufactured round of cowboy action ammo from winchester if I'm reading these calipers right.

I'm just setting up my new Dillon 650 press and want to run a few rounds through the machine, I plan to use 5.7-5.9 gr of winchester 231 with a LP Federal primer.

Are ya asking fer pistol, rifle, or both?

Load several as dummies, no powder/primer and see if they feed/chamber, yer close enough ya should be fine.

About now reading a good loading manualor two would help.
