The shooting pad arrived in great condition today.  Thanks to you, I may not have to continue to clap with my shoulder blades no more.  This pad "past" is just the ticket.  El Paso Pete let me use his when I  shot his big 50-90.  Yup, it still kicked, but the pad really made a difference.

What kind of pad is it? (Brand)

My friend, GW, recommended a certain brand of pad, but durned if I can remember the name now! 

It wasn't a Past or a Kick-eez brand - iit was one I'd never heard of, but apparently many serious BPCR shooters use it.  Recoil is a non-issue to me with the match rifle, but my Sharps, especially at the prone position, gets uncomfortable after a box or two.  It'll only get worse now that I'm about to start casting 535 gr. bullets instead of the store-bought 405 grainers that I've been using.

It is a "Past" pad.  Looks like just the ticket.  I'll have to form it to fit the butt stock of the crescent on my roller.

The "Past" is what I recommended to a friend who rotator cup sugery a couple of years ago. She swears by it now, and her physical therapist was very favorably impressed with it!
