Lt Col Reb Tyree has returned after being listed as missing in action. 

Sorry folks, do to a computer problem (New Hard drive and better virus protection).  Lt Col Reb Tyree, is reporting for duty.  Can anyone provide any current information on the status of the Dept of the Pacific.  I have not heard for Col Malichi Thorne.  Hope the Col. is well.

Bvt Col Malachi Thorne reported in recently, and I believe has been in touch with Bvt Lt Col Reb Tyree.

He has had some difficult family matters to deal with lately that took up more of his time and attention than he anticipated.  He should be back with us shortly.

In the meantime, I'm pleased to see Bvt Lt Col Tyree taking up the duties and see that the Department of the Pacific is doing well.

Gentleman,

Once again I wish to thank you, for reporting your status.  It is good to see that the DoP is still moving forward.  I have received a dispatch from Col Malachi Thorne, and he shall be return to his post shortly.  I trust all had a great Christmas and New Years.  I trust all are well in winter quarters.  God Bless America and all who serve our great Nation!  "Scouts, out!"

I, too, thank Lt Colonel Tyree for stepping up to the plate in my absence.

As the General indicated, I have of late been attending to a fairly difficult family matter.  The light has begun to appear at the end of the tunnel though, and thus my participation in the GAF can now increase.
