Now that the holidays are over I was able to get back to my leather making to do list.
I made this pouch for a friend's girlfriend. She will be using this pouch when riding on the back of his harley.
She doesn't use a purse and wanted a place to carry important stuff i.e. money, id card and keys.
I based this pouch on the tandy leather small belt pouch design. The pouch is a little deeper and i use deer hide for the sides of the pouch. I also laced it with kangroo lace instead of sewing it.

Wow!  Looks great!  Your friend and his lady are lucky folks.

That's a fine looking pouch. I like the simple design. My wife rides her own Harley but she has good-sized saddlebags. for someone who doesn't have that, this looks like a great item. Good work.

Beautiful work! She will get a lot of looks from Harley riders.

Our local Tandy store now sells kits to make leather saddle bags, tool pouches and I believe small tour pac's. Everything is furnished and pre-cut.
You just need to lace them up. They look decent and are reasonably priced.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself
