El Rod in Nevada is a good 'smith to work on the Thunderbolts and the original Colts. I have my AWA in to him at this time to get a blowback problem fixed. I'd trust him over anyone else around. He really knows the lightnings and what makes them work. He can do a good action job on them and they will work when he's done. Sorry to hear you had problems with the Taurus customer service, Outrider. It makes it hard to make a decision to go with them.

Mine has been back for several months now...They just replaced the original one...like they have been doing with most of the others.  I still will not use it in a match...don't trust it.  Quite frankly, if someone would offer me a decent price I would sell it in a heartbeat.

Tell you one other thing...will never ever buy another Taurus product.
