Well Pards, after getting my new Ruger NM Vaquero, I was on the hunt for a nice set of walnut grips. What I wanted, I could not find for less than $160 until I found a very nice gentleman, Mr. J W Wilson at BearPaw Grips. Mr Wilson was able to make me a custom set of grips that fit my hand perfectly. I wanted plain walnut and gunfighter style. I have a regular size hand, but short fingers. Mr. Wilson was able to make the perfect custom grips for me at a very good price. I had searched all the grip manufacturers and could not find the exact grip I needed, so custom was the only way to go. Most custom manufacturers were expesive (about 1/3 the cost of the revolver), but Mr. Wilson was very resonable. I have attached a photo of the grips on the revolver.

If you need a set of grips, contact Mr. Wilson by e-mail: bearpawgrips@outdrs.net

The grips look great Sgt.!

I think those stock rubber/plastic grips on the NMV's are.... well.... not pretty.
