An expanded search turned up this

2004 R&D offerings lists conversions for 44 to 45 LC in Remington, 36 to 38 Special in Remington Navy, 44 to 45 LC for Ruger AND a fluted cylinder 44 to 45 LC for Ruger and Remingtons. The interesting additions are their 31 to 32 S&W (short) for the 1849 Colt clones, 36 to 38 LC for 51/61s, a 44 to 45 LC for 60 Army AND a 44 to 45 LC for the Rogers & Spencer.

Also Ottawa Creek Biil made a pair for French Jack mentioned in a thread on this BB. http://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php?topic=6369.msg74451

I may have a C&B R&S coming in trade, I'd like to find a Conversion Cyl.

if anyone reading this gets the r&s drop in cylinder conversion please let us know what you think of it. i didn't find the cylinder on the r&d website but found it at midway usa for about $220. seems a reasonable price. but would like to get someone's experience first. thanks in advance. geo.

Thanks for BTT, ing this...
I can tell you I have one of R&D conversion Cyl. on my 2nd Gen 1960 Colt.
It is a fine product....
The only draw back is the fact to use you must remove & disassemble the Cyl. to load, as there is no loading gate.
It still faster the front stuffing and capping and a real hoot to shoot.

I had a chance to get a NIB Rodgers & Spencer.  I though since the Remy boys enjoy the R&D's or Krist's, I like one for the new Revolver....as it turned out I missed the opportunity.
The guy had traded it off.

Fox Creek Kid

Yes, I have seen, held & shot such a beast. A buddy had one & then sold the entire outfit. The only bad thing about it IMHO was that the R & S has a funky grip made for large hands as I had to adjust my grip after every shot to cock the piece. It shot great. He bought the R & S cylinder from Brownells & it was made by R & D.
