USFA/Gary Granger (Banjoman)/Rodeos - I'm very impressed

I just recently purchased and received two USFA Rodeos from Gary Granger (Banjoman) thru his website http://www.frontierclassics.com/index2.html. Both of the Rodeos were beautifully finished. Bores/cylinder chambers almost like a mirror and cylinder throats perfectly sized at .452". Timing perfect. Tight lockup and no endshake. The finish in the frame cylinder window and the internal lockwork surfaces are almost as smooth as the outside finish. During disassembly and close inspection I did find one flaw in one of the Rodeos. An email exchange & phone call explaining the problem resulted in a FedEx call tag from Gary for a return to USFA. The quality of the guns and the exemplary customer service is really a treat. If you're looking for the best, give Gary a call.

I also just received two Rodeos, and I did notice that internally they both were very clean.  The hand channel surprised me how well polished it was as well as the barrel and cylinder.  Fit & Finish is flawless.  The attention to these kind of details can not be banged out on some machine, it takes careful attention by a craftsman that knows what they are doing.

Motion approved and passed! I bought my 2nd USFA from Gary. I am glad he is part of USFA, and very grateful he became a member of this forum. That's a BIG plus for us!
