I recently picked up a brand new 6th Generation IAC 97W shotgun from Davidson's as a stable mate for my Baikal mule ear double, and would like to express my opinion on  this 1897 Winchester clone. Overall fit n finish is very good n she's wears some nicely figured American walnut wood. The action was fairly smooth right out o the box and she feeds n ejects just fine. She's got a big ole brass bead on her 20" barrel wots real easy to pick up. Recoil was a bit stout on this six pound nine ounce gun even using Remington STS light target loads sos I added a Kick Killer lace on recoil pad from Cabelas n cured that. I'm 5' 11" tall n the Kick Killer pad brought the LOP to 14 1/4" n she throws up to my shoulder n points real natural like. She's a absolute  joy to shoot. Not that it makes any difference for CAS but the Davidson's website shows her magazine capacity as four rounds but I found that my gun will hold five rounds in the magazine. She ran me bout $344 out the door from my local FFL dealer. The only real fault I can find is the cheesy owners manual that IAC provides. Hope this helps.
