Howdy Pards & Pardettes,

I just traded for an nice British Bulldog in 38 S&W.  It is a 6 shot double action and in nice condition.  I plan to use it for the DA side match at the KVC 2 Gun Shoot next May.  I have to get some cases and load up some BP ammo.  Guess that I could use it as a main match revolver in I wanted. :o :o  It is headed my way in a brown truck.  Can't wait! ;D  I've asked Joss to add pictures.

Dr. Bob,
Nice, now all you need is the proper shoulder holster rig to go with it.

Dr. Bob, that is cool....as you know, I'm a Webley man myself....:)

A good way to carry it, is either in a shoulder holster as Ottawa suggested, or you can get a left hand holster, to be worn in the small of the back. That would make it easily concealed, but also easily accessible to your RIGHT hand.....:)

Speaking of which, I still need to make a holster for my .450 Adams, and I also need to make one for my 'Avenging Angel'.....:)

James,

Yeah, I DID!  ;D  When ya saw the title of this thread ya knew it wasn't part of a 12 step program! :o ;D ::) ::)  More guns is ALWAYS GOOD!

Cammie, OTB, OCB, Irish Dave, SHB,

Thanks!  Haven't decided on leather yet.  I appreciate the good ideas.  Been thinking about a cross draw lined in buckskin.  I'll bring it to the Convention, of course! :D ;) :)

Looks very similar to my Belgium copy.  Mine doesn't work well when only loaded with 2 rounds like required on some pocket pistol portions of main stages.  It has a tenancy to over rotate because it is out of balance.  I thought of making up some dummy rounds to fill the empty chambers to counter this problem.

YEEEEEEEEHAAAAA!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  The brown truck just brought it to me!  The bore is crisp and the DA trigger pull is smooth and not heavy at all.  Couldn't be happier! :D :) :D ;D ;D  Gotta go show Books before the rain starts to freeze on the roads.

Congrats Bob.

I loaded that caliber for the first time just before the 2005 Nationals.  It a fun little casing, no problem to load.  I bought Starline brass and used an old Lee Load-all kit to do the loading.

Enjoy that little revolver.

I load mine using Lee 9mm dies with the appropriate shell holder.  Works fine.

Make a note of that Bob.  I've got 9mm dies.
