You ever feel a little guilty....

For starting out with Rugers?  I mean that I am spoiled now.  I guess I just thought that all the pistols would be as smooth out of the box and even smoother if they came with an action job. 
My first love visually is the '75 Remington.  I just had to have a set.  I ordered them from a gunsmith with an action job.  They are FINE pistols and he was a great cowboy to deal with.  Nothing wrong with them at all and I mean NOTHING. 
They are just not my RNVs!  Nothing I've shot or held felt as right and rugged to me as my RNVs.
I think I am scared for life now!

I keep thinkin I'd like ta buy me a brace of Taylor's Smoke Wagons but I jest can't seem ta make mysef spend the $$$ on em since they ain't Roogers

Naw!

My first six-gun was a 6.5" Single Six convertible I carried for trapping. 
My second was a S&W M-29 .44, followed by a 7.5" Super Blackie.

Naw, not feeling guilty, feeling kinda smart.  But not conceited.

I think I might have posted this somewhere else..but at the risk of repeating myself on a different forum..

Had an AWA..built on 1st generation specs...smooth as glass Blue/Black barrel, case hardened..looked exactly like the Colt..

I traded that gun in so fast it would have spun you around...I saw a RNV 5.5 SS laying on a table for UNDER $400..

I shoot Rugers....I have for years, and I will stand by the Rugers because they have never let me down..
