This was my first SASS match.  I had a lot of fun.

I normally shoot in an NCOWS two gun Class.  I shot clean with my two NCOWS weapons. [One miss with the shotgun - but pretty slow.  Major Matt said in hurt him to witness my shotgun performance. ]
My second pistol shooting was not very good until Trap loaned me one of his Remingtons.  I was clean there after.

I just have one small diappointment.  I heard that SASS has about a zillion class/catagories.  Well that aint quite true.

I would have taken 1st in the "Classic Cowboy Over Six Feet Tall Class."

Maybe next year.

The one hanging over the table is from River Junction Trade Co.
The one in the swinging arm attached to the pole I found at and antique store.
The small brass lantern hanging from the arm was given to me by Kaleen.
The pair(the twins) back in the tent (got to look hard to seem them) I got at a thrift store for $ 5.00.
    [I have seen some just like the twins in the background of several the scenes from Deadwood.)

With 5 authentic lighting devices, two authentic beds, two ditto chairs and two ditto tables (one with a linen table cloth) several people commented on how we were "roughing it."  They would probably be shocked at an authentic cowboy on-the-trail camp.

I consider my tent/camp "boom town luxury."
