Pards,

I really like this carbine, but now that a Spencer rifle is being produced, well I just got to have one. This carbine is in .44 Russian and I can honestly say that it has not given me one problem feeding or firing (well actually one, but I suspect it was my fault for not giving the lever enough action), however I realize others have had their share of problems with this calibre and these  have been reported not only on this site but others as well, and that these problems may cause some to hesitate purchasing this particular firearm. To those people, all I can say is I am a trust worthy person and if any of my limited postings on the subject are still around (on either this site or the other well known one) look them up; from day one I have said this carbine functions great. I have used Ultramax .44 Russian loads allmost exclusively and will say if you use this load there will not be a problem.

Price is $800 + actual shipping (any overage will be refunded). That includes the carbine, front barrel band with sling swivel & reproduction leather Enfield musket sling (all installed on carbine), and factory case.

If you have any questions or want to talk about the carbine shoot me an email at   johnnyshoes@netzero.com

Thanks much, Capt. John.

Howdy Cap'n!

I'm not an expert on gun prices, nor do I portray one on TV.  ::)  ;)

$900 seems like a pretty decent price to me.  What with the Dollar vs. Euro, import fees & taxes etc., I'd say you did well.  Wish I could afford one myself!  If I win the Lottery .....

Have fun!
