I'm new here, so I don't know if I'm in the right place.  But I recently acquired a family antique that I'm trying to research.  I'm told it's an 1872 Remington Creedmoor w/2 1/2 or 2 1/4" chamber.  I've read a few things about it, but am having a custom display case made and wanted to have a little accurate information engraved on a brass plate inside the case.  I'd like to find different places to put it on display for limited times to kind of share the thrill I get in seeing it.  I'd also like to find a couple of rounds to display with it.
If anyone has info they could share, I'd sure appreciate it.
Thanks
