Spencer/ Sharps original main springs

My friend broke two main spring in his Taylor 56/50 and then switched to an original and is still using it. He paid $ 35 for it but this guy sells them for $ 20 [Ed Nicely 2645 southern hills rd, York, Pa 17403 ]. The spencer and the Sharps take the same spring. Red Leg
