I recently Bought a new Marlin 1894 in .357. The ejector only throws the rounds about 3 inches from the reciever and sometimes doesn't throw them out. Is this a problem with this gun? Can the spring be replaced or modifed without sending it back to the factory? if so, where can I get one?

Shoot same.  Should be easynuff fix.  Inspect ejector spring for damage/misalignment.  Does not hafta go back to factory for replacement.

I could spell u thru it.

Two things I did to my Marlin ejectors.  I used a sheet of glass and some 1500 paper to slick up the sides of em, (so they glide nice against the cut out channel) and then tuned em by adjusting the bend in the middle of the spring.  A little more can toss em further, but too much will cause more drag in cycling. If ya go easy ya won't break the ejector, and will get the desired results.

Also note that ya have to make sure ya rack the gun full open, and that there's no goo built up under the EXTRACTOR claw getting in the way of the brass popping clear of it when the ejector slaps it.
