Dixie Gun Works has Spencer breechblocks on its website.  I've called twice to inquire about them.  Once I was told they are rimfire, and the other time I was told they are centerfire.  Does anybody know for sure?  If they're centerfire, does anyone have experience with them?

If you're interested, I have an S&S centerfire conversion breechblock, unused for sale for $100.

I have experience with them.  They are CF but may take some fitting.  The firing pin spring is too strong and with a lighter one, the pin will stick fwd if dry fired, jamming the block(cured with a rod down the bbl).  I never got 100% ignition with it, even with the lighter spring but it always managed on the second hit.  It has a inertial pin so you can cycle without cocking the gun.  A slight change in the pin design would solve most of the problems.
