Col. Jeff Cooper passes away

I just heard that Col. Jeff Cooper passed away today. He was the last of a rare breed.

  I met the Colonel on my last trip to Gunsite.  Along with my fellow 350 students I spent a very interesting afternoon eating the Dutchess' brownies and listening to the master speak.  This is a wonderful memory that I will cheris.  I have a picture of one of my best pards and the Colonel and me together.  I will have to pull that out and place it in a place of honor.

My deepest simpathy and condoleces to the Cooper family.  The Colonel cast a long shadow that we all walk in every time we put our hands on a pistol.  I am honored to say that I met him.
