CAS in San Angelo, TX.

Well folks, today we had our first shoot here in San Angelo, Texas.  There was quite a turnout with shooters from the Abilene & Midland area there as well.  It was great to see all the cowboys & cowgals walkin' around the local range.  Because of reasons I cannot go into, I was not able to stay for the entire shoot so, hopefully someone else will be able to add to the thread as to how folks did at the shoot.  The shoot is planned for the second Saturday of each month & I believe they said the time to show was 8:00 a.m. & the shoot would begin around 9:00 a.m.

It was great to see such a good turnout here today.  I am looking forward to next months shoot & will be better prepared & ready to shoot then.  I would like to personally thank all the shooters who came to San Angelo to make this CAS Shoot possible.

It's hard to imagine that out of all the shooters that showed up at the CAS, that not one of them visits CAS City or SASS Wire to leave info on the shoot?

What's the name of that there new club?  I wonder if they have a website.  Didn't see any new S.A. club in the club list on the SASS site yet.

I've got several clubs I can shoot with on the second Saturday in the Austin area, but I'm glad to see San Angelo finally got a club started.

Howdy Abilene,

The shoot was held by the San Angelo Gun Club and the Abilene Gun Club is the one who ran it.  I thought that odd but, perhaps the San Angelo Gun Club wasn't fully prepared to run it being their first shoot.  We will have to wait until next month's shoot to see what's going on.  I don't think they have a website as of yet?
