Soft Italian SAA Firing Pins

I have read that some Italian import SAAs have soft firing pins?  Is this true and is it possible to harden them with something like Kasenitt?

I can't say with any authority for SAA's.
Some Opentops for a few years ago had an issue.
Some some were piercing the primers some were mushrooming in the 500 to 1000 round range.

I have a Cimmaron Opentop purchased last fall, so far no problem.
