Sorry Two Fints,

I haven't been following the board too closely lately. On the other hand......

I wonder if Ramano Rifle Co. would be willing to put together a Spencer sporting rifle on a custom order basis.

I guess all it takes is money, money and more money. ;D

It's my understanding, and I could be wrong on this, but Romano no longer makes Spencers.  They completed the orders they had for Spencers and then would not take any more. 

If you check back on pages 3 you'll see the Goodell-Spencer, and on page 4 the Gemmer-Spencer.

If you look at the Armi-Sport Spencer .56/.50, it is a very easy action to rebarrel, with a threaded chamber, flat breech and a single cut, centered on the bottom, for the Lane extractor.  Fairly easy for a decent gunsmith.  Surely someone will try it soon.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .
