Afternoon All,

I'm interested in the New England Handi-Rife single shot in 45-70.  However, I find that it has an automatic ejector.  I know for shotguns this style of ejected is not allowed.  I wonder if this is true for rifles as well.  I'm somewhat confused as I saw a gentleman who was being interviewed last week on Cowboys and he was using a rifle with an automatic ejector.  So, any help on this question would be greatly appreciated.

In all things, be well, and safe.

It's perfectly fine to use in side matches and in Plainsman events too I think.  They are great rifles.

Yep use one all the time in Plainsman. WOW I have 2 of those rifles. I really like them.
Some clubs will let you use them in some side events. Our ACSA club lets us shoot them in a CAT. called Single shot.Smokeless or BP
