My wife wanted to get a new makers stamp for me as a birthday gift. Since my birthday is a couple months away, I decided to get the ball rolling so it would be here in time. I sent email inquiries to two stamp manufacturers. I got an instant email back from one, Harper Mfg, communicated back and forth for a couple days and finally settled on a good historically correct (1880-1900) stamp that would fit on the strap of a Mexican Loop holster. I placed the order last Tuesday. I was told that the stamp would probably take 3 weeks to get here. I mentally thought it could be as long as 1 - 1 1/2 months for custom stuff. It arrived today. Hats off to Harper Manufacturing. I'm impressed. Here's a photo of the image it makes. I still haven't heard from the other company regarding my initial inquiry yet.

Nice looking stamp.  I like the one piece construction.  Where is Harper located?
