dunno if this is the right forum but webley's were made prior to the turn of the other century. does anyone know where i can get parts and pieces for a webley .455 (besides numrich)? i need a lanyard swivel and a bird's head grip. i knew of a place in st. albans, vermont but i cannot locate their website (were inporting webleys and enfield pistols at one time). thanks in advance. geo.

If you need the entire lanyard ring assembly - I'd probably try MARSTAR, if they're still around.

They're a Canadian-based operation much like Numrich.

The guy who you were thinking of was called 'The Webley King', I believe - but he hasn't been around for a long time.

As to grip panels - try www.vintagegungrips.co and talk to Joy Gonano.

Failing all this - go to your favorite search engine and type in 'webley parts' - or some variation of that theme.

You should be well-rewarded.

Good Luck.

Springfield Sporters, someplace in Pennsylvania I think, used to have the lanyard ring assemblies.  They have some of their catalog items listed on the 'net, but not the Webley parts,so you'll probably have to call them.  I haven't ordered from them in years, but at that time they were reasonably priced, helpful, and had some hard-to-find parts.
