 Do you dye your leather before sewing it? Also do you wet your leather before dyeing?  Do you Put your border stamping on before sewing?b][/b]

I agree with the other pards except that I haven't wetted the leather before dying. I hadn't thought of using alcohol like Bob says so I'll have to try that.

The alcohaul is something relatively new(a year or so) for me and I picked it up from here.  This is in no way done as a heavy casing wash but rather lightly as a spritz and quick wipe to remove uhhh the whatevers from the surface and open the pores.  OH, do not waste your Jack Daniels on this one Marshall, Wally Worlds Icyprofill alcohaul does jist fine for leather and is much cheeper (causes killer headaches when subbed fer JD anyhows)!
