I want to make the plunge and get a USFA . I have to sell another gun, and if that comes thur,,or rather as soon as it comes thur, I want to get my USFA.

Is the only place to get on the USFA factory ?
I gather our good Marshal Halloway deals with them, but I cant raise the good Marshel on email. YOUUHOOO ! Marshal H. ! Contact me sir !!

Anyone else carry them in stock ? And, if so, who is the 'go to' dealer ?

With the money iv spent thats made me unhappy on the imported Colt clones I could already have at least one USFA.

Marshall,   I would suggest you contact your local FFL dealer.  USFA will sell to dealers at the "dealer Price" so you are likely able to do a bit better than just going to the USFA site yourself  and ordering the gun to be sent to the FFL.  In other words let the FFl make the contact with Gary Granger (AKA Banjoman).   He may even read this posting and contact you!.  I have purchased 3 USFAs in this manner and have got all of them at a reduced price than is on the website.  Most if not all websites like Cimarron, EMF and Taylors operate in a similar manner.   Safe shooting.

Howdy Marshal,

I'll echo some of what Deadeye said;

I got my USFA via a FFL owning friend of mine. He had never done any business with USFA and had to send his FFL credentials to USFA, then could place an order. The dealer prices are definately lower than the ones found on the web site. My cost out the door after Ohio sales tax, shipping from USFA to my FFL friend and a small 'thank you' to my buddy was $931.xx.

pricey, yes, but worth every single penny. I'll post a picture just to egg you on, you won't be disappointed.

You might look at the prices on the Whittaker gun shop web site.  The standard USFA SAA runs $835 with quite a collection in stock and they ahve a pre-war for $1030.  From what I hear, they are a good shop to deal with.

Marshall,
You can order a gun direct from USFA but since it will have to be sent to the dealer of YOUR choice, check with them for a price.   You'll also find several dealers on Gunsamerica, Gun Broker, etc.  that offer USFA products.  As in a direct buy from USFA, they wil also  have to ship to a dealer for the transfer.

As USFA is based in Hartford CT, I shop at Hoffmans Gun Center in Newington CT (spittin' distance from USFA). I just picked up a 4-3/4" Rodeo (chambered in .38) for roughly $140 less than the "retail" price on the USFA site. Shopping around is key as advertised pricing often times varies greatly from MSRP to the various dealers in the network. And like other folks have already mentioned, having a ffl friend can save big $. And the price I paid for my Rodeo wasn't much more than what a Vaquero goes for, which makes me even more pleased.
