Howdy all.............like I said before, I am coming back to the darkside. But,  I do not have the time to cast my own soft bullets, because of my other shooting sport, trap and skeet. Does anybody shoot Desperado Cowboy Bullets? I like the ideal they cast soft bullets, and there lube is compatible to black powder. I like to hear from you all. I want to start reloading black powder.

Dave  I know the lube has beeswax because the bullets smell like honey.
I have used them with 777 and they work just fine. I am not certain how well they would lube BP all by themselves. I would consider a grease cookie or a disc of beeswax under the bullet if barrel fouling became a problem. I have noticed a shooter of the bullets swabbing between stages but he was shooting a 32 cal bullet and small bores foul easily.

Since I have 14+ guns, I've been called the Imelda Marcos of Cap&Ball. Now, that's a COMPLIMENT!
