Dr. Bob

Howdy pards,

Guy,

Thanks!  That is just what I am talking about.  I have one very similar to that that I have been using, but I want to be able to document it to my Original persona, a Dr. who was an Army Surgeon during the Mexican War, a Santa Fe trader before and after that war, and a hotel/saloon owner for about 20 years.  Yep, I'm a geezer!  ;D ;D

Del,

Thanks for the offer!

I don't need no steenking buggy!  Have a good saddle and doctors saddle bags [I carry a reproduction of an original set that I own.]  That, along with the saloon operator experience leaves me with the desire to carry my revolver on my person, and not one of those little pocket pistols that just make a feller real mad! ;D :o ;D

Having been out of the Army for 38 years, I doubt that I would wear my officers sword belt.  Might have a belt with my old Army belt palte though.

With all the photos that have been posted, I feel ok about using the belt that I have.  A great BIG THANKS to all who have contributed!!!

Regards, Doc

Unless of course you failed to save the brother of the brother of the Outlaw leader who kidnapped you to operate on him ;D....I think I saw that on Gunsmoke once ;)

You might be thinking of The Tin Star.  The Doc saved the brother, but the other brother, Lee Van Cleef, didn't want the doc to tell his tale, so he killed the doc as he was heading back to town. :(
