Barrel relining

I have a Pietta .36 with Kirst Konvertor and love it. I'm thinking of having the barrel relined by R & D. Does anyone know what the lner life would be? I tired of holowbase or heeled ammo.  Thanks for the help, I new to this type of shooting, normally autos.

I can't tell you how long they'll last but remember that the liners are a better grade of steel than the plain Italian BP barrels. That should give better life than you would have otherwise. Kenny at R&D lined my main match pistols from .454 (or whatever the .44 bore is) to .357 about a year ago. I figured that the frames would last much longer shooting 38spl than 45lc. He did a great job and they're as accurate as with 45lc cylinders. I never shot heeled bullets since they started out as 44's but they are tack-nailers. Kenny did a superb job and I'd have him do it again. You shouldn't have any regrets.
