Which nipples are best?

Hmmmm?  I am planning a purchase of Uberti 51s.  I used to replace factory nipples with Uncle Mikes,  I was told they are no longer manufactured.  Ampco (sp?) was suggested.  What do you folks suggest?  Anybody got a stash of Uncle Mikes cached away?  LOL

Treso brand nipps.  Get them from Thunder Ridge in Colorado.  They have a web site.  Great people to do business with.  VERY knowledgeable.

William, Sir:  I got ahold of some stainless steel nipples from Cabela's (cheaper than Tresco's) and expound that they are equal to or better than the Tresco's

That's good news.  I need to get a dozen or so and was wincing at the thought of $4 a pop on the Tresos.

John Boy - That's a pretty generic description that Cabela's gives.  I'm assuming they are for the Pietta's as that is mostly what they sell. Also doesn't say what cap size they are for.  I'm only buying nipples that fit #11 as otherwise its too dang confusing to remember what goes on what.

Guess a phone call is in order.  On the other hand, perhaps going to Thunder Ridge is worth the extra $1.67 as they know their product extremely well and worked with me to get the right nipples on all of my shooting irons (in #11).  I doubt that the Cabela operator is going to know a whole lot about these stainless nipples.

Dog, don't own any Uberti C&B's so can't say if they will fit.  The nipple is smaller than the standard #11 nipples (for Pietta) and I shot #10's with them
