Howdy,

I have a fair number of Pyrodex Pellets that I have won in the past.  Does anybody know how they will perform in a .45 LC round fired through the Rifle?  What is bullet lube and how is it used and will I need it?

They will work just fine.  Use standard Black Powder Lube on your bullets. If you do not have or use the PRS Big Lube Bullets make sure to put a disk of wax papper over the Pyro Pellet and use a lube cookie.

I've been using the Prodex Pellets in my .44/40 rifle for years, they work great.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

Yeah, they work fine when you use them in rifles and behind a 250 grain bullet, but they are a bear when used in a SAA and forget that they are supposed to be used in the rifle, not the pistol.
