anybody shoot a 10 in cas, what load do ya use?

That's easy ML, First ya put about a half pound of powder in the shell, then add a wad, then pour in a half pound of shot, crimp 'n shoot! :D ;)

Hope sum pards jump in here with real 10 bore load data, I wanna see that antique lever gun make a cloud! 8)

What works well for me is a standard BP 12 guage load of 3-1/4 drams of Fg and 1-1/8 oz shot, which is about the same _volume_ for each.  With 2-7/8" RMC brass cases I put in a scoop of Fg, 1/8" card wad, two 1/2" fiber wads, a scoop of shot, then top it with an overshot card glued in place with Elmer's  Carpenter glue.  Very satisfying Boom, Clang and Cloud!  ;D

What length hulls are ya using? 2 7/8", 3", or 3 1/2". I am using 3 1/2".
