I would just like to share with you the following;


On the 15th June at 11:am in Auckland, New Zealand

The birth of my partners grandson

Axel Shelby Conroy. 8lb 4 oz

This makes me a granddad by default and I am as proud as hell of the little one.

Both mother and child are doing well but tired.

Congrats Dai.  Rita got me a Grandpa and Me frame fer Father's Day, she tolt me about it early so we went and got some pictures done today.  Got a good one of me and Lexi in a restored prairie.  Grass knee high to me and not a tree in sight to spoil the view.

A proper Newbrassky picture.  Course thanks to that durn J. Sterling and his Arbor day there was only one angle we could get,..............................unless we also got the Prairie Interpitanion Center in it also.

Heck we only had an hour or so, so we had to use the one in the large city park.

I thank you all for your messages.

Mother and baby are home now and all going well so far.

A good kid, sleeps well. A good mum but a little too loather to ask for help when she needs it. Trying to do everything by herself. Luckily the father of the baby is very supportive of both of them.

My partner is so very proud of her new/first grandchild.

Makes all the cr##p that goes on in your everyday life pall into insignificance when you look at a newborn just starting out in life.
