i've often thought why doesn't uberti start a custom shop for there rifles and pistols. there is alway people who want custom items put on there guns. they can charge a fee for extra work and i know several people who would order firearms with select wood or blueing in spl. cals. i sure would. they make fine guns and with a small custom staff they could start out small if it grows then they could exspand or lower there custom price. if it doesn't they could charge more for custom wook to make it pay.i've tried to get some of the gun makers do a few extra thinks nad most aren't interested. a few are. that why i bought so many firearms from axtill, c.sharps, t.v.m.  gotzguns

Done some business with an ole boy in Florida over Gunbroker.

Bought one he said was 'straight from Uberti's Custom Shop'.  I didn't pay no attention to it.

When I got the thing, 'n managed to get the STP Uberti dips 'em in 'fore they ship 'em off the thing, it felt real smooth.  Hammer was still heavier than I wanted so I went to put another mainspring in it.

Pulled the right upper backstrap screw.  Pullin' the left one 'n THWANG.  Coil spring 'n plunger come flyin' out.  Had some luck, the stuff hit me 'n fell straight on the floor so I found 'em.  The thing had a Rugerized handspring.  I had no idea.

I got a bunch ah Ubertis.  That's the only one supposed to be from the 'Custom Shop' 'n the only one with a coil handspring...

All I did was name it 'n get it started. The posse made it great. A debt I can never repay. Thank you, mi amigos.
