So I was watching "A few dollars more" I think and one of the guys had a single action with a carbine stock on it.  I seem to recall seenng something similar at a gun show a few years ago. It was a Single action with a rifle/carbine shoulder stock and a carbine lenth barrel.
Who makes these?

Mine was made by Uberti.  Looks a like a Cattleman with a brass grip frame, adjustable sights 'n an 18" barrel.  The stock is detachable.

I bought it from a seller liquidating an estate.  From what she said she was told by the family the original owner bought it sometime in the mid 1970s.  Never seen another like it.

Uberti still offers it. It's called the 1873 Revolver Carbine. It is available in two versions; fixed sight or adjustable sight. Uberti Part # is 344190. MSRP is: $585.00. Caliber is .45 Colt, 18" barrel, color case frame, blue barrel and trigger guard, brass buttplate. 34" overall, 4.4 lbs, 6 shot, fluted cylinder, & walnut grips. There are several styles available, Uberti copy's of a Remington version, which uses the same cap and ball cylinder and conversion cylinder as their 1858 Remington, The 73 is basically a colt SAA action although not sure of the cylinder swap out capability, there is also Roots style revolver rifles and carbines out there, The roots was the largest and most robust it can be had in military musket configuration and uses a side mounted hammer. All of the percusion stlye should be fired with both hands behind the cylinder, I think this is the reason the originals never caught on, although chain fires in revolver cylinders probably were rare the posibility of loosing your weak side arm/hand was there everytime you pulled the trigger,

The Uberti Remington cap & ball revolving carbine is called the Target Carbine. It's Part # 341200, MSRP $455.00, Cal. 44, blue barrel & frame, brass trigger guard and buttplate, 35.3" overall. The rest of the specs are the same as the 1873. Most important is Joe4d's excellent advice: don't place your hands in front of the cyclinder, when firing! info & photos at http://www.uberti.com
